a memorial tattoo I'm working on for a former teacher of mine that passed away. . .
Air force MsSgt. Arnold Carp April 29, 1946- December 6, 2008 he ran the ROTC program at my hs and even though I wasn't in ROTC I had him for 2 different classes and w/most of my friends and my bf at the time all in ROTC, I spent a good deal of time around him and he was your typical retired serviceman- gruff and prickly around the edges but always there when you needed him and always willing to listen if you were having a bad day or to write you a recommendation letter for college or anything else. He is greatly missed. when this is done, the ribbon will be yellow for "support our troops", the star which is a stylized air force star will be sky blue, and the karp will be red and white for bravery and for Sarge as we all called him. . . We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
